Counselling and Intervention
At Blossom & Thrive Psychology, we provide counselling and intervention services for children, adolescents and adults. Our approach is warm, compassionate, and person-centred, with a focus on creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered. Therapy is tailored to each individual’s strengths, goals and lived experiences, with practical strategies to support meaningful and lasting change.
We value collaboration and, where appropriate, work closely with families, schools, GPs and other health professionals to ensure consistent support and the best possible outcomes. Our goal is to help individuals develop insight, build resilience, strengthen emotional regulation skills, and improve overall wellbeing across home, school, work and social environments.
Therapy draws from a range of evidence-based approaches depending on individual needs. These may include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness-based approaches and strengths-based interventions.
We support individuals experiencing a broad range of social, emotional, behavioural, and psychological difficulties. Services are delivered using a neuroaffirming, strengths-based approach for neurodivergent individuals, including those with Autism and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
