These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the telehealth services provided by Blossom & Thrive Psychology. By booking an appointment or accessing our website, you confirm your understanding and acceptance of these Terms.

1. Services Provided

Blossom & Thrive Psychology provides professional psychological services through telehealth. Appointments are scheduled and managed through Halaxy, and intake forms are available through our Wix-hosted website or directly on the Halaxy platform.

2. Bookings and Cancellations

  • Appointment Bookings: All appointments must be scheduled via Halaxy.

  • Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we request a minimum of 48 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may result in a charge equivalent to 100% of the session fee.

 

3. Payment and Invoicing

  • Session Fees: Fees for services will be discussed during your initial consultation.

  • Payment Terms: Payment is required in full prior to the commencement of each session. Payments are processed through Halaxy or invoiced via Halaxy software.

  • Outstanding Payments: Any overdue fees will incur additional charges. Unpaid balances may result in restrictions on future bookings until the outstanding amount is cleared.

 

4. Consent for Telehealth Services

By engaging in telehealth services, you agree to the following terms:

  • You will ensure that you are in a private, secure, and appropriate setting for the duration of your telehealth session.

  • You acknowledge the inherent risks associated with telehealth, including potential technical issues or unauthorised access, despite our best efforts to secure the platform.

 

5. Confidentiality and Privacy

We are committed to protecting the confidentiality of all information shared during your sessions. Your personal and health information is protected under Australian privacy laws. Disclosure of your information will only occur when required by law or if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others.

6. Liability Limitation

While we make every effort to provide the highest standard of care, Blossom & Thrive Psychology is not liable for any losses or damages arising from the use of telehealth services. This includes any technical disruptions or unauthorized access that may occur during telehealth sessions.

7. Modifications to Terms and Conditions

Blossom & Thrive Psychology reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and it is your responsibility to review them regularly.
